Welcome to the registration information page for Lorne Park.
Below is important information and links to help you with the registrations process.

Evaluations

The House League evaluation process will help determine your child’s skill level and place them in the appropriate level. Approximately one week after the House League evaluations the coach will contact you to discuss the results.

Evaluations for House League will take place on September 12 and 13, 2015 at Carmen Corbasson Cawthra Arena

Registration Fees

What does the registration fee include?
  • All ice time for regular practices and games
  • Hockey Jersey & Socks
  • Team Picture
  • 2 tickets to the End of the Year Banquet - up to Bantam
  • End of the year trophies and awards
  • League sponsored skill development experts - HL and Tyke
  • MHL Administration fees
  • Hockey Canada Administration Fees
  • All MHL gate fees are now included in registration fees.
  • All non-resident players registering in the MHL will be required to pay a $60 surcharge

    This includes all "A", GOLD and House League and Tyke players.

      What is not included in the registration fee?
    • All hockey equipment (skates, hockey stick, shoulder pads, helmet, etc.) for your child

    Is there a discount if I have more than 1 child to register?

    Yes! A $20.00 discount is applied to each additional registrant of a multi-player family.
    During the registration process, please check the discount box for each additional player to receive your discount.

    What are the options for paying the Registration Fees?

    • Staggered Payments.

    • Online using a credit card
    • Paying by cheque:
      If you wish to pay by cheque, then the registration fees are due upon registration. Follow the registration process to register your player(s), print off the receipt and mail to the address printed on the receipt. All payments must be made to the Registrar by September 1st, 2015 in order to participate in evaluations.  Cheques should be made payable to the “Lorne Park Hockey Association” and mailed to “909 Hedge Drive. Mississauga, ON L4Y 1E9”

    Tax Receipts will be sent to your e-mail address the beginning of February.

    What is the Lorne Park Friendship Program?

    As a reward for bringing new players to the Lorne Park Association, a $40 Rebate will be applied for every new player that joins as a result of your referral.

    If you are a New Player to the MHL

      As a new player to the MHL, these are the minimum requirements:
    • Must be a resident of Mississauga. Non-residents must apply for residency relief through the Registrar.
    • Have an e-mail address
    • Must register with a Birth Certificate Number or Passport Number
    • Must abide by all City of Mississauga and MHL code of conduct rules

    You will need to create an account with the MHL system. As part of creating the account, you will need to provide a copy of the player birth certificate or passport to the registrar for proof of citizenship.

    If you are a Returning Player to the MHL

      As a returning player:
    • If you have registered with Hockey Canada for any association with MHL in the past, you should continue to use the same e-mail address and password.
    • If you are registering with Lorne Park or were registered with a different association within MHL, you will use the same e-mail and password as last year.
    • Update any contact information before registering a Participant. You can enter the Registrant’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender etc. to access the file or you can create a new file.

      Financial Assistance


      Financial Assistance is available for those players/families who qualify.

      You can apply to more than one organization to maximize assistance you require.
